Savannah- Mary Alice Underwood, 54, passed away on February 19, 2012 under the care of Hospice Savannah. She was born in Wilmington, NC and lived in Savannah most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Underwood and her paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Underwood and maternal grandparents, John and Alice Lewis. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Harold and Peggy Joyner, 3 sisters, 5 brothers, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as many loyal friends.

She was a loyal employee of Candler Hospital as an AP analyst for the past 16 years. Her personal interests included children and various crafts.

A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, 02-25-2012 at the Kingdom Hall at 1046 Mohawk Street, 31419.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kingdom Hall at 1046 Mohawk St, 31419 or Hospice Savannah.
